Fine for late return

A fine of Rs.5.00 per day will be imposed in respect of each Lending book not returned by the due date.

A fine of Rs.3.00 per hour will be imposed in respect of Schedule Reference books borrowed for over-night use and not returned by 9.00 a.m.the following day.

Payment for Lost tickets

In case the Library card is lost, it should be reported to the Senior Assistant Librarian in writing immediately. Duplicate cards may be issued after verification for 2 week of the loss and on payment of Rs. 100/-.

Payment for loss of library materials

Loss of a material should be reported immediately to the Senior Assistant Librarian, lf the book is not found within two weeks, the borrower must replace the same book, and otherwise he/she must pay the charges as shown below:

If a text materials published in 1978 and before 1978
Cost of material + Present Value (200 % of cost of material) + Penalty (25% of cost of material)

If a text materials published in 1979 to 1988
Cost of material + Present Value (100% of cost of material) +Penalty (25% of cost of material)

If a text materials published in 1989 to 1998
Cost of material + Present Value (70% of cost of material) +Penalty (25% of cost of material)

If a text materials published in 1999 to 2009
Cost of material + Present Value 40% of cost of materials +Penalty 25% of cost of materials

If a text materials published in 2010 to 2019
Cost of material + Present Value (20% of cost of material) +Penalty (25% of cost of material)

If a text materials published in 2020 and after 2020
Cost of material + Present Value (10% of cost of material) +Penalty (25% of cost of material)
